1. Dripping Music Festival 2025

2025

At Dripping 2025, I joined GUMGUM studio and served as the lighting controller in charge of designing and executing lighting environments across both two stages. GUMGUM studio uses BUSKER, a custom TouchDesigner-based DMX engine tailored specifically for the festival’s real-time lighting needs. This system enabled precise control over a wide range of lighting effects—including color, pattern, pan/tilt, rotation, and fog/smoke—through an intuitive interface optimized for live performance conditions.

During the event, I operated BUSKER in real time for performances by artists such as CCL, Young Boy Dancing Group, Drew McDowall, and Chuquimamani-Condori. I aligned visual atmospheres with musical narratives.

I also took Miwa Maroon’s SoftyDMX as reference, developed a TouchDesigner-to-Unreal Engine plugin to simulate the light installation within virtual environments, enabling previsualization and documentation. All 3D stage simulations and scenographic proposals were designed using Blender, Cinema 4D, and Unreal Engine 5, blending technical fluency with artistic direction.
